Lifelong Norwalk Resident Winifred Osborn age 83, wife of the late Dr. Robert Dickson Osborn of Norwalk, passed away peacefully in Valhalla, New York with her family by her side. Mrs. Osborn was a daughter to the late Charles and Emily Winifred Anderson Ott.. She was a retired Executive Assistant for Time, Inc. and a volunteer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for twenty five years. Upon graduation from Norwalk High School with the Class of 1948, "Winnie" was awarded "Best Dressed" and "Best Athlete" titles. Winifred is survived by her loving children, Leigh Osborn and his wife Robin and Elizabeth Osborn Stewart and her husband Anthony of Valhalla, NY; four grandchildren, Patrick, Alexandra, Ryan, and Katherine; and a great-granddaughter, Adrienne. All services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street has been entrusted with arrangements.
