William J. Carbone age 60, beloved husband for 35 years of Florence Curatola Carbone, died Monday October 22, 2012 at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York City. He was born on April 17, 1952 in Brooklyn, New York and was the only child of the late Nicola and Vita Fardella Carbone. Bill graduated from Niagara University with a bachelor's degree and had been a Logistics Executive for Superior Metal Trading. He was an active member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, an avid Yankee's fan and enjoyed every minute with his loving family. In addition to his wife Florence, Bill is survived by three cherished sons, Matthew W., Michael J., and Christopher N. Carbone all of Wilton; an aunt Josephine Lombardo of Woodbury, NY; loving brothers and sisters in law, Dominick and Susan Curatola of New Rochelle, NY; Steven and Maria Bucci of Rye Brook, NY; John and Carol Lombardo of Woodbury, NY as well as several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday October 25, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday October 26, 2012 at 10 A.M. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Road, Wilton. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Greenwich.
