Wilbert E. Jimenez

Wilbert E. Jimenez, age 59 of Norwalk, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2020. Wilbert was born on February 5, 1960 in Alajuelita, Costa Rica. He is survived by his father, Adonay Jimenez, his ex-wife Rosa Jaimes, his daughter Stefanie Jimenez, his son Michael Jimenez, and several brother and sisters. He is predeceased by his mother, whom he adored, Leticia Alfaro Zanchez.

Wilbert spent the majority of his life living in Norwalk and working as a talented painter. He enjoyed fishing and clamming in his leisure time. Wilbert had a big heart and was supportive of his friends. He was head strong and his stubborn nature was often an entertaining part of his character.

Wilbert will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Though he suffered greatly throughout his life, he fought hard towards the end and left this world peacefully - surrounded by family.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Friday, January 31, 2020 from 5PM-8PM at the Hoyt-Cognetta Raymond Funeral Home on 5 E Wall Street in historic Norwalk, CT. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 10AM at St. Mary’s Church on 669 West Avenue, Norwalk, CT.
