BRIDGEPORT, CONN Warren S. "Bud" Dunlap of Bridgeport, a former longtime Norwalk resident passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in St. Vincent Hospital of Bridgeport, while surrounded by his family. He was 85 and the beloved husband to Barbara E. (Naumann) Dunlap of 57 years. Born in Danbury, Conn on January 20, 1926, Warren was the son of the late William D. and Hazel (Lattin) Dunlap and attended local schools. He was a retired teamster of the Local 191, Bridgeport. In Warren's spare time, he enjoyed tag sales and flea markets. He loved spending time and surrounding himself amongst his family. In addition to his wife, Warren is survived by a son, Thomas A. Dunlap of Norwalk; three daughters, Patricia A. Cerulli, Jennifer L. and her husband, Bill Hartwell, all of Norwalk and Sandra Fitzpatrick of West Hartford; a brother, Jack Dunlap of Brookfield, Conn; seven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 16, 2011 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street from 5:00PM - 8:00PM. Warren's funeral will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 in the parlor at 10:00AM with Donald Burr to officiate. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.
