WILTON, CONN Vincent Frascino of Wilton passed away on Wednesday, July 07, 2010 in Norwalk Hospital. Born on July 19, 1931 in New York City, Vincent was the son of the late Ambrose and Dora (Battaglia) Frascino. He graduated from New York University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Shortly after his discharge, Vincent went to work for the Electric Regulator Company and later joined the Perkin Elmer Corp where he worked as an engineer and project manager until his retirement. Vincent enjoyed travel and photography. He was active with the Boy Scouts of America for many years. He is survived by his brother, Ambrose R. Frascino; his nieces, Lisa Puma and Ashley Frascino; and his nephew, Michael Frascino. Vincent's Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Road, Wilton. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family has selected Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street to assist them with the arrangements.
