Victor Manuel De Los Santos

February 20, 1946 — September 19, 2025

Norwalk

Victor De Los Santos, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle, passed away surrounded by family. He was born on February 20, 1946, in the country town of Barahona, Dominican Republic.

As a young boy, Victor moved to Santo Domingo to begin his journey toward independence. It was there he met the love of his life, whom he married just a year later. Together, they built a beautiful family and were blessed with three children and, in time, six grandchildren who brought endless joy to his life.

In pursuit of the American dream, Victor and his family left their homeland and came to the United States. He took great pride in raising his three children, all of whom went on to graduate from college—an accomplishment that filled him with pride and gratitude.

Victor’s work reflected his spirit of service and dedication. In the Dominican Republic, he worked as a cab driver, and in the United States, he became a school bus driver, loved by the many students who rode with him each day.

Those who knew Victor will remember him for his humility, his sense of humor, and above all, his deep love for his family. He was a proud grandfather, always protective and supportive of his grandchildren, a devoted husband who worked tirelessly to provide for his wife and children, and a wonderful uncle who cared deeply for his extended family.

Victor will be profoundly missed by his family and friends, who will forever cherish his memory and the love he shared with them.

“Forever in our hearts, until we meet again.”

— Salmo 23:1
