Toni Catherine Kruy age 53 of Norwalk passed away on September 19, 2015 in Norwalk Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on October 21, 1961 in Stamford and was a daughter to the late Stephen & Filomena "Fanny" Parenti Kruy. She moved to Norwalk at a young age and has been a resident ever since then. Toni was a kind hearted and generous person who love all animals and extended that love to caring for other people's pets which she made into her life's passion. She will be missed by all. She is survived by the love of her life, Robert Lawrence of Norwalk who she made a home with that included her own two dogs, Becky and Travis; two brothers, Peter Kruy of Plainville, CT and Stephen Kruy Jr of Maui, Hawaii and many nieces & nephew. Friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday September 23, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thursday September 24, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
