Thomas Arthur Presbie

Thomas Arthur Presbie, 78, died Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Cassena Care in Norwalk, CT.  A former chef, Tom lived, worked and worshiped most of his life in Waterbury, CT.  He enjoyed painting and had a passion for connecting with others.  In addition to always having a story or a joke to tell, Tom was known for his loyalty, frequent phone calls and hand written letters.

Thomas was born August 16, 1941 in Waterbury, CT to Zygmunt Przybyloski and Helen Nizelski.  Known to his family as Tommy, he was especially close to two of his cousins: Beverly and Joyce.  All three were born within a month of each other and grew up together in their extended Polish family.

Tom is survived by five nieces and nephews, and several cousins.  He was predeceased by his brothers Edward and Robert; his cousin Beverly Pace; and earlier this year, by his nephew Kevin.

Cremation will take place this week and Thomas will be laid to rest with his parents in Mt.
