NORWALK, CONN Teresa Claire LaRochelle went to heaven on Thanksgiving, November 24th, 2011. Born on All Saints Day, November 1st 1927, daughter of the late Yvette Gagne and Alcide LaRochelle and was a lifelong resident of Norwalk, CT. Matriarch of the family, Teresa was the former owner of Norm's Diner in South Norwalk and was the top chef at all family reunions. Teresa was also a former realtor, loved to travel and spend time with family & friends. She was a true Angel on Earth. She is survived by her sisters, Rita Byxbee of Norwalk, CT; Doris Caffrey of Bethel, CT; and brother Norman LaRochelle of Norwalk, CT. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews who adored her. Predeceased by brother, Leo LaRochelle and nephew, Keven LaRochelle. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 3, 2011 in St. Thomas the Apostle R.C. Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk at 10:00AM. The Rev. Robert Crofut will officiate. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. There are no calling hours.
