Susan Harberg

Susan Harberg age 83, formerly of Norwalk, passed away on January 17, 2018 surrounded by her family in Bethel. She was born in Norwalk on April 12, 1934 and was a daughter to the late Edward and Mildred Beaupain Sjolund.

She was a hairstylist at Anthony’s Hair Styling in New Canaan and Waveny Care Center New Canaan and worked at The New Canaan Advertiser as a proof reader. Susan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, spending time at the beach and concerts at the beach with friends, she loved dancing and reading.

Survivors include a daughter, Wendi Bivona; son in law, John Bivona; a granddaughter, Emily Bivona; grandson, Nicholas Bivona; her brother, David Sjolund  and sister in law  Carol Sjolund in St Pete FL. three nephews, Randy Hartman in Largo FL. Shawn Hartman in Hartford CT and Scott Sjolund in MD

Friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday January 20, 2018 from 3:00 until 6:00 pm in Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street.
