Stanley Sol Kaufman, passed away January 6, 2018 at his home in Norwalk, CT while surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Carol Enid Kaufman for almost 60 years and whom passed away September 11, 2016. He was born December 19, 1932 in Washington DC, and was the son of the late Morris and Tillie Kaufman. Stanley and Carol recently moved from Florida to Connecticut to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
Stanley is survived by his four children: Michael, Jennifer, Lisa and Mark as well as two daughters-in-law, Sandra and Carolynn and one son-in-law, Bobby Rowe. There are also 8 wonderful grandchildren Daniel, Elise and Michele Kaufman, Jonathan and Alex Rosenberg, Tyler Rowe, Ryan and Ethan Kaufman, who remember him with love. He is also survived by his youngest brother Bernie and his wife Hannah, his sister-in-law Judy and many nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed.

Friends are invited to greet the family and attend a service on Monday January 8, 2018 at 2:00 PM in Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street with Rabbi Jason Greenberg officiating. Immediately following the service and until 7:00 PM all are welcome at Mark & Carolynn Kaufman’s home at 270 Rowayton Ave, Norwalk, CT 06853.
The family will be sitting shiva on Tuesday January 9 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM at Jennifer Kaufman’s home at 123-21 Old Belden Hill Rd, Norwalk, CT 06850.
