Shirley A. Coppola, age 87, the wife of the late Vincent Coppola, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2015 in Wilton Meadow Convalescent Home. She was born on February 4, 1928 in Norwalk, CT and was the daughter of the late Alexander & Anne Karoly Nagy. Shirley worked for MBI Inc., Norwalk, for many years before she retired. Shirley is survived by her son Robert Coppola and his wife Kathy, her daughter Karen Smith and her husband Jeffrey all of Norwalk, CT. Other survivors include her two grandsons, Jason and James Coppola, his wife Marjon, a beautiful great granddaughter, Mia, her favorite cat, Smokey and her favorite dog, Little Bit. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 11:00AM at Saint Ladislaus Church, Cliff Street, South Norwalk, CT. Interment will be private. The Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall St. has been entrusted with arrangements. Rest in peace, Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma; you will be in our hearts forever.
