NORWALK, CONN Saideh Lisa (Yassin) Roldan, a thirty eight year resident of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on Sunday, May 01, 2011. She was 57. Born in Ramallah Palestine on December 02, 1953, Lisa was the daughter of the late Abdule and Amara Yassin. Lisa emigrated to California in the early seventies and subsequently settled here in Norwalk in early eighties. Lisa worked as a stone finisher for several area companies and most recently expanded her talents within the field landscaping. She was a breast cancer survivor and a pillar of strength to many. She had many friends that will miss here dearly but will always cherish the great memories. She is survived and will be missed by her daughter, Dream Amara Roldan of Black Rock, Conn; four brothers, Abdule Yasin of Norwalk, Mustafa Yassin of CA, Mucmuad Yassin of CA and Muhamed Yassin of CA; a sister, Hameeda Yassin of Palestine; nieces and nephews and two grandsons that love her dearly. The Roldan family will receive friends on Friday, May, 06 2011 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street from 5:00PM - 8:00PM. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Lisa's life will be held on Saturday, May 07, 2011 at 8:30AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue. The Rev. Robert J. Crofut will officiate.
