Ruperto C. Salcedo

Ruperto C. Salcedo passed away peacefully on December 5, 2017 at the age of 77 in Queens, New York.  He was a devoted husband of 48 years to Violeta and loving father to Marikit Lawson and husband Jon of Weston, CT; Nikki Bievenour and husband Raymond of Weston, CT and MaryAnn Salcedo and wife Heather Black of Vancouver, WA.  Ruperto was adored by his two grandchildren, Leah and Chloe Bievenour and much beloved by his many nieces and nephews.   He is survived by his sisters, Dominga Baltazar and Priscila Asuncion and pre-deceased by Luzviminda McGilligan.  He will always be remembered for his strong devotion to family, generosity and integrity.

Ruperto was born in Manila, Philippines on October 30, 1940 to the late Nicolas and Romana Salcedo.  He was a certified public accountant who graduated from Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines.  He worked for several companies in Manila, New York and New Jersey prior to retiring in the Philippines.  A memorial service will be held at St. Francis Church in Weston, CT on December 16, 2017 at 11a.m.
