Rosemary Stroffolino Romano
My beautiful wife, Rosemary Romano, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2026, after a very brief, but courageous, battle with cancer. She was the love of my life for more than 51 years.
Rosemary was a loving, kind and generous person. She was devoted to her family and friends without hesitation and loved them and her husband beyond measure. Her greatest joy was spending time with her many cousins and their extended families and then adding friend into the love and laughter.
Project From The Heart took a good amount of her time and was more meaningful to her than you could imagine. Our life revolved around packing boxes for her soldiers, labeling and shipping. She was proud of her soldiers, our Country and our flag. She remained loyal to all endlessly.
Her other favorite project was Wreaths Across America, again, country loving and a proud American. This organization places wreaths for Christmas at every gravesite in Arlington Cemetery. Rosemary worked vigorously for them.
Ro was born and raised in Norwalk, Ct, the daughter of Fred and Grace Stroffolino, graduated from Brien McMahon High School, and then continued her education at Southern Connecticut State University, graduating with a teaching degree. She later joined the family pharmacy business as their bookkeeper.
Along with her husband, she enjoyed traveling, dining out at every restaurant imaginable, holding her annual Fourth of July Family Reunions and, occasionally, relaxing and reading a good novel.
Rosemary will forever remain in the hearts of everyone who ever met her. And, while our hearts are broken, we are so grateful for the love she always gave us and the life we all shared with her.
Rest in peace, Rosemary, until we meet again. We will forever love you.
