Rose Mary Lasprogato

Rose Mary Lasprogato died on December 21, 2024. Born March 27, 1925 in Sioux City Iowa. She was the eldest daughter of Daniel (Dalto) Daly and Catherine Stabile Daly. Relocating to Norwalk in her senior year of high school, she became a graduate of Norwalk High School Class of 1943. She then entered Norwalk Hospital Nursing School and graduated as an RN in 1946. She married her husband Arthur on June 7, 1947 and their union lasted 64 years until his death in 2012.

She had a 40 year career at Norwalk Hospital and was admired by her coworkers and patients alike for her professionalism and compassion.

She is survived by children Linda (Rikki) Ball, Arthur (Debra), and Thomas (Joan), grandchildren Katie (Jeffery) Jorgenson, Michael, Joseph (Leah), Jake (Javie) Lasprogato, Jennifer (Cory) Arnold, and Amanda (Christopher) Puck and great grandchildren Spencer and Ty Jorgenson, Caleb and Teddy Lasprogato, Skylar and Phoenix Arnold, and Emmett and Josie Puck.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was predeceased by her son Daniel, infant granddaughter Stacey Lynn and sisters Josephine Masi and Mary Troy.

Rose was a loving, giving daughter, wife, mother and friend. She always put the needs of those she loved before her own. She will be sadly missed by those who loved her. All services will be private. There are no calling hours. Donations in Rose’s memory may be sent to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
