Rose Ludmila Buzzutto (Dugan)

Rose L. Buzzutto (Dugan) age 72, passed away at her home of natural causes on October 13, 2020. She was born in Bridgeport, CT on February 22, 1948 and raised on the family’s dairy farm in Redding, CT (Rock House Dairy) she was the daughter to the late Michael and Rose Polasek Dugan. Rose lived in Easton most of her adult life, and had worked 30+ years  as an Oncology Certified Nurse at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Bridgeport and Infusion Room Administrator at The Whittingham Cancer Center in Norwalk. Rose was an avid traveler for many years, a Lifelong member of the Redding Grange and Member of The Unitarian Church in Westport, CT.

Rose is survived by: two daughters, Rena C. Homburg of Glen Allen, VA and Kathleen R. Smith of Derby, CT; a Son in law, Franklin A. Smith of Derby, CT; two Grandsons, William A. Smith of Henrico, VA and Benjamin F. Smith of Derby, CT; One Great Granddaughter, Ashley L. Smith of Henrico, VA; and her faithful feline companion of many years, Stevens.

A memorial celebration of her life will be held in the near future and details will be announced when finalized.
