NORWALK, CONN Rosalie A. "Lolly" Wilson, age 50, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in St. Vincent Hospital of Bridgeport, while surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of twenty-six years to Scotty (Ewart) Wilson. Born in Norwalk on August 29, 1960, Lolly was the daughter of the late Elroy and Betty (Hollister) Eckert and graduated from CVA of Norwalk in 1978. She continued her education at Norwalk Community College. She worked as an assistant for a Norwalk law firm for eight years. Lolly's number one priority was her family. She enjoyed spending time with each and every one of them. As an avid fan of sports, she loved to attend her grandchildren's local football and basketball games. She was a devoted and diehard NY Yankees fan. In her spare time, she also enjoyed playing Bingo. Along with her husband, Lolly is survived by three daughters, Jaclyn Robinson and her husband, Stanley Valentine, Dawn Robinson and Rosa Wilson, all of Norwalk; a step-son, Mark and his wife, Myra Wilson of Bridgeport; three sisters, Dawn Tuozzolo, Merry "Sissy" Robinson and Grace Robinson, all of Norwalk; three brothers, Elroy, Al, and Glenn Eckert, and Mark Robinson, all of Norwalk; a foster daughter, Jacqueline Moore of Stamford; eleven grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Additionally, she is survived by two special women in her life, Mimi Chambers and Marissa DeRosa, both of Norwalk. Lolly was a beautiful lady who touched the lives of many and her memory will live on in their hearts. Lolly's family will receive friends on Friday, March 18, 2011 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street from 4:00PM - 8:00PM. A brief prayer service at 7:50PM in the parlor will conclude the evening. Interment will be held privately, at the convenience of the family. Please omit flowers.
