Rodolfo Gomez Rodriguez age 65, passed away peacefully at Aurora Senior Living with his loving family by his side. Born in Honduras, he was the son of the late Secundino Gomez and Julia Rodriguez. Rodolfo was a loving father and grandfather and was a proud home owner who enjoyed working around the house. He is survived by his devoted family, five sons, (two sets of twins) Tony, Jose R, Gabriel & Carlos Gomez and Adrian Gomez; two daughters, Julia Gomez and Vanessa Hernandez, all of Norwalk; a brother Jose Antonio Gomez; five sisters, Digna Rodriguez, Ester Gomez, Dalila Arely Vasquez, Rosa Elvira Gomez and Julia Suyapa Dominguez; eighteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many nieces & nephews. Friends may greet the family on Sunday February 23, 2014 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday February 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM directly at St. Joseph's Church, 85 South Main St. Norwalk. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Norwalk.
