Rocco Derosa

Rocco DeRosa, 92, of Norwalk, CT passed away peacefully February 15, 2021. He was born November 6, 1928 in the Bronx, NY to the late Louis DeRosa and Mary Fiore.

Rocco is predeceased by his sister Florence, and his five brothers: Charles, Tony, Al, Joe and Frank.

Rocco was loved and respected by everyone who knew him, worked for him, or were lucky enough to call him family. After serving in the US Army, he managed the Deegan Motel in the Bronx for over 50 years before retiring at 85. Rocco loved to travel with family and friends, spent every Sunday with his grandchildren, and over-tipped every server or bartender who had the pleasure of his patronage.

Rocco is survived by his loving wife Edna of 67 years, his daughter Donna, his grandchildren Jenna and Craig, his great grandson Damon, his loving nieces Susan, Terri and Maryann along with his loving nephew, Richard.
