Robert A. Romano Jr. age 65 of Norwalk, son of Robert A Romano and Diana Romano, died in Norwalk Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Bobby is predeceased by his parents and nephew Johnny Romano.
Bobby was born in Brooklyn N.Y., but at 6 months of age the family moved to Norwalk where he lived out most of his life with the exception of a 5 yr period in Boca Raton Florida that he spent caring for his mother.
Bobby's life was all for his children Christopher and Robert, they spent great quality time together watching old movies, telling jokes, and cooking at home which they all loved to do. His presence will be missed, but the memories and lessons he taught them will last forever.
Bobby was a member of the Norwalk Exchange for many years prior to moving to Florida and he had many lifelong friendships inside and outside of this group. Bobby also in his younger days was an avid bowler and he even had a near perfect game 298. He also loved to golf, snowmobile, cook or help others in their kitchens.
Surviving him are his Sons Christopher and Robert, brother John C. Romano wife Nataliya, former wife Denise Gallo, sister-in-law Kristrun Romano and their children (nephews) Roberto, Michael, niece Jaye Lufty and great nephews/nieces.
Visitation, viewing is on Friday November 3, 2017 from 4 - 8 PM in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street. Norwalk, Ct. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday November 4, 2017 10 AM at St Jerome Church 23 Half mile Road in Norwalk. Interment to follow in St John's cemetery Richards Ave, Norwalk, Ct.
