NORWALK, CONN Robert Edward Mulligan, age 86, passed away at Norwalk Hospital June 9, 2011 after a long illness. Born in NYC, the son of Edward and Rose (O'Shea) Mulligan, he was predeceased by his sister Jeanne Welsch. Bob is survived by his wife Patricia, daughters Joyce Mulligan and Deidre Mulligan Kennedy, son-in-law T. Michael Kennedy, and many nieces and nephews. Bob proudly served in the Marine Corps during W.W.II. After military service he earned a B.A. in History at Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. at NYU. He spent many years in the Personnel field, both in industry and the federal govt. He enjoyed teaching at Fordham University, School of Business, for a few years as an Adjunct Professor. A Memorial Mass celebrating Bob's life will take place Saturday, July 9 at 11:00 AM, at St. Jerome R.C. Church, 23 Half Mile Rd., Norwalk, CT 06851.
