Robert (“Bob”) Depelteau left us peacefully on January 11, 2026, with all of his family by his side.
Bob was a loving husband to his wife Esther. They were married for 51 years and were always best friends. They shared many adventures over the years but the greatest was having a family. Bob’s sons, Greg and Tim, were the light of his life.
He always made time for them – shooting hoops, Boy Scout camp outs, being a band parent. He was very proud of them every day.
Bob welcomed two daughters-in-law – Greg’s wife Sue and Tim’s wife Nicole. He thought of them as the daughters he never had. Three awesome grandchildren followed – Remy, Max and T.J. - who brought Bob joy whenever he saw them. He loved spending time with them and doing all the “grandpa” things. Bob’s capacity for loving people was his super power.
After four years of serving in the Navy, something he was very proud of, there were forty years in the printing business. After his family, Bob’s favorite things were shooting pool, a cold beer and the NY Giants.
Bob is also survived by his sister Debra & brother-in-law Frank, sister-in-law Debby & her husband John. Niece Vicki & her husband Steven, along with great nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Ronald & his nephew Steven. He will be missed everyday by all of us who loved him and he will not be forgotten.
