Robert "Bobby" L Calladio

In Profound Sorrow, we announce the passing of Robert Louis Calladio, 66 formerly of Norwalk, CT. Robert (Bobby) Louis Calladio transitioned to his eternal rest on June 2nd, 2020. Robert was born on July 28, 1953, son of the Late Alfred Calladio and Edna Jansen.

Robert Calladio spent his childhood in Stamford as well as completing his education in the Stamford Public School System. He thereafter worked in the City of Stamford for many years including working at Terry Conners Ice Rink since 1979 where all knew and loved to work with him.

Robert created a life in Norwalk, CT with his wife, Deborah Calladio (married in May of 1982), and their three boys that came soon after. He loved his family vacations as it became a yearly tradition to visit Vermont and Lake George. No matter how many times his family went to Lake George, Bobby would always find something new he would love to go on about during their trips. Bobby and his family continued their traditions which always tended to include Bobby taking thousands of pictures of everyone on trips and gatherings especially of his granddaughter Ava who he referred to as "little girl".

He found joy in the simple things that he found interests in whether it was marching in Nash Drum Corp, going to the races in VT, shooting, snowmobiling, and bowling. He was a lover for his motorcycle, his guns whether reloading them or going on range trips with his friends and son Mitchell. He was known for his wit, sarcasm, quick jokes, and like to have things his way which all accepted.

Robert is survived by his wife Deborah Calladio, his three children Carl, Mitchell (Shaunice), and Alex, his two sisters Deborah (Lenny) and Jennifer (Joshua), and his loving granddaughter, Ava. Robert will also be remembered fondly by his in-laws, nieces, nephews, and extended family and dear friends.

A wake will be held Monday, June 8, 2020 from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M. at the Hoyt-Cognetta / Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street in Historic Norwalk. Burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien. Please visit www.norwalkfh.com to leave an online condolence for the family.
