Richard D. Lepkowski

Richard David Lepkowski, 66 years old, died unexpectedly on December 09, 2020 in Westport, CT. Richard was born in Brooklyn, NY, May 30, 1954. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Violet Lepkowski, his brother Thomas Lepkowski and his sister Cheryl DeMaddis, as well as His Nephews Michael DeMaddis and Richard DeMaddis.

After High School, He joined the US Navy. He then settled in Fairfield County where he was co-owner of two different computer graphics companies.  Richie Slides and then ChroMakers. He retired early due to Lymes disease and began to work at Al’s Hobbies in Norwalk, where he could build and repair model airplanes.

He was a member of Country Squire Modelers, and spent as much time as possible at the flying field at Sherwood Island.  He will also be remembered for his willingness to help anyone and everyone. He was also a member of the Long Island Aero Radio Society.

Richard married in 1982 and leaves behind his 2 children, Jacquelyn Lepkowski and Steven Lepkowski, they love him dearly and will miss him deeply.  He also leaves behind his very loyal dog Kahlua and several nieces and nephews.
