Raymond (Ray Charles) Leach was born on January 25, 1956, in Grover NC, to Ray Leach and Josephine Ross. He was one of 6 siblings, of which he was pre-deceased by 2 of his brothers, Berard (Nottie) Leach, Eugene (Big Boy) Dawkins, his mother, Josephine Ross Leach, and father Ray Leach. He leaves behind two sisters and one brother, Danielle Leach of Derby CT, Alice Jo Leach of Norwalk CT, and Tyrone Leach of Stamford, CT. He also leaves behind, 4 aunts, several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Ray Charles was loved by many and often referred to himself as “Dr. Ray” when if it came to the ladies. He was a very fun-loving guy who loved his family, as well as his many caretakers he had over the years! He had an unconditional love for his special TV shows, most of all Law and Order and his sports teams. Ray Charles leaves a legacy of unconditional love to his family and will always be remembered and missed by all who knew and loved him. He had an infectious smile and personality, and many were drawn to him for his loving nature.
