Ram Bahadur Singh

Ram Bahadur Singh, age 60, of Norwalk died peacefully at Norwalk Hospital on January 4, 2020.  Ram was born in Nepal on January 15, 1959, and was a son to the late Singa Bahadur Singh and Basmati Devi Singh.

In addition to his mother, Ram is survived by his loving wife, Prema Devi Singh and his children; sons, Krishna B. Singh and Roshan B. Singh and a daughter, Kavita Singh, and his siblings; Laxman B. Singh, Mangal B. Singh, Mohan B. Singh, Chandra Devi Singh, Durga Devi Singh, and the late Laxmi Devi Singh.

Ram earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Nepal and enjoyed a long career in the restaurant industry.  He enjoyed reading, visiting new places, watching movies and keeping up with the latest news, but most of all he enjoyed making new friendships.  He will be remembered as a kind, loving, wonderful man who cared for so many.  He was a generous man who was always ready to help.  He cherished time with his family and friends, and had the ability to always make you laugh.  Ram will be dearly missed.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 6, 2020 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Hoyt-Cognetta/Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street, In Historic Norwalk, CT.  Interment will be private and at a later date.  Please visit www.norwalkfh.com to leave an online condolence for the family.
