FEENEY-Phyllis A. Feeney age 89, passed away May 19, 2012 at home with her children and grandchildren by her bedside. Though there were struggles along the way her end was peaceful as was her life. Her sweetness we are already missing, but with the knowledge and comfort that she is among those that she has missed herself. Phyllis was married to our father James for 69 years until his death in January of 2011. A lifelong resident of Norwalk and Westport, she accomplished many things in her life of work as an employee and business owner, but her greatest success was as a mother, grandmother, wife and friend. She was the daughter of the late Allyn and Mildred Ostrander Goulden. She is survived by her son David and daughter Martha Harris (Mark), grandchildren Kelly Taylor (Ryan), Sean Harris (Brooke), great grandchildren Sophie and Marin Taylor and Brayden James and Madeline Harris. A memorial service is planned for the end of June. Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street has been entrusted with arrangements.
