Paula Sacchinelli

Paula Haslinger Sacchinelli, 66, died peacefully on March 27th at her home in Norwalk, CT surrounded by her loved ones. She fought a courageous battle with cancer for many years and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Paula was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Haslinger of Tuckahoe, NY on February 4, 1952. Raised in Tuckahoe, it was there that she met and married her high school sweetheart, Nicholas R. Sacchinelli. They later moved to Norwalk, CT where they built their home together and raised two beautiful sons whom she absolutely adored.

Paula's family and friends were her passion and delight. She was a woman of many talents who enjoyed painting, loved the beach and being outdoors. Her uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way is what made her so beloved. Her optimism was infectious and inspired all who loved her to always “Believe!”

Paula is survived by her husband of 45 years, Nicholas, son Nicholas P. Sacchinelli and his wife Crystal (Santiago), son Christopher Sacchinelli and his wife Kelly (Blair) and many relatives, nieces, nephews and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family will receive friends to celebrate her life Monday April 2, 2018 at Hoyt Cognetta Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street, Norwalk, from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm. Please visit www.norwalkfh.com for more information.
