Paul Barton "Bart" May, 56, passed away at his home on May 15, 2015 in Norwalk. Born in Evanston, IL, he is the son of John and Signe May, formerly of Norwalk, who predeceased him. Bart is survived by his son, Brandon Barton May of Newton, MA, sisters April Coyne of Trumbull, Rebecca Bieler of Norwalk, and Marsha Elkind of Fairfield, as well as five nieces, three nephews, three grandnieces and two grandnephews. Bart worked tirelessly for the Town of New Canaan DPW for over 20 years. In his free time he enjoyed partying with friends at Cranbury Park, attending concerts, bird watching, and blasting music as loud as he could. Bart simply filled the room with his presence and couldn't help but to live large. He's gone too soon and will be sorely missed by us all. Visiting hours will be held at the Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street, Norwalk from 11:00PM - 2:00PM on Saturday, May 23, 2015. A Celebration in honor of Bart's life will follow at Cranbury Park from 5:30 'til closing. Please join us under the pavilion.
