Patricia A. Suda

Patricia A. Rogers Suda, 69, of Norwalk died peacefully at home on May 24, 2021, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous fight against cancer. Born in New Haven, CT on July 25, 1951 daughter to the late Dr. William J. and Lois G. Rogers. The family moved to Westport in 1959, where she attended Westport Public Schools. Patti graduated in 1970 from Staples High, where she met and married her high school sweetheart, and love of her life Mark R. Suda.

Patti and Mark moved to Norwalk and were married for 49 and a half years before he passed in 2020. They have two sons, Mark R. Suda Jr. (wife Michelle Palmer) and Joseph R. Suda (wife Amy Amico), and four cherished grandchildren, Skyler, Madyson, Samantha and Joseph Jr. Patti also leaves behind her siblings, three brothers Bill, Paul, John his wife Debbie, Rogers, her sister Janet (David) Aitoro, and two sisters in law Carol (Dennis) Bok, and Sherry (Joe) Salvati and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

She loved watching her sons in their sports, from cub scouts, Cranbury League Baseball, NAA Pop Warner Football, to High School Baseball and Football, she was there for all games. She enjoyed watching her grandkids from softball, baseball, gymnastics, soccer and hockey.

Patti retired in December 2017 as a Bookkeeper after 32 years. Time to spend with her family.

Her words to all family and friends are, "Live life to the fullest, with love and respect to others, cause you never know what tomorrow brings."

Family and friends are invited for calling hours Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Raymond Funeral Home in Historic Norwalk, 5 E Wall Street. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 4, 2021, 10:00 AM at St. Paul Westport, 44 Easton Road Westport, CT. Burial will follow at the Willowbrook Cemetery, Westport, CT.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Whittingham Cancer Center, Norwalk, CT in memory of Patti.
