Patricia M. Caruso

January 17, 1927 — May 31, 2013

Patricia M. Caruso age 86, beloved wife of John Caruso of Norwalk, died May 31, 2013 in Greenwich Hospital. Mrs. Caruso was born in Yonkers, N.Y. and was the daughter of Mario and Camilla Orlando Magini. She graduated from State University of New York, New Paltz with a Masters Degree in Education and Special Education. She retired from North Rockland Central School District after many years as a teacher specializing in reading. Mrs. Caruso was a member of the Norwalk Seniors Center and the New York State retired Teacher Association. Survivors in addition to her husband include two sons, John Caruso and his wife Colleen of New Fairfield and Thomas Caruso and his wife Robin of Ridgefield; six grandchildren, Rachel, Alexis Nichole, Brigida, Thomas Jr., Michael and Nicolas; many nieces and nephews. Friends may greet the family on Sunday June 2, 2013 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated on Monday June 3, 2013 at 11:00 am directly at St. Paul R.C. Church, 82 Lake Rd. Congers, N.Y. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Nyack.
