Pasquale Tartaglia age 81, beloved husband for 58 years to Concetta Rauccio Tartaglia of Nowalk & Punta Gorda, Fla. passed away in Port Charlotte, Fla. on February 28, 2014. He was born on November 10, 1932 in Portico di Caserta, Italy and was a son to the late Angelo Antonio & Carmela Gaudiano Tartaglia and step mother, Martha Tartaglia. Pasquale was the owner of Patsy's Barber Shop for 40 years located at 7 ½ Winfield St. in Norwalk. He was taught his trade by his father-in-law, Domenic in Italy where they worked side by side for many years. He was a loving and devoted family man, he enjoyed watching soccer, dancing and fishing. In addition to his loving wife Concetta he is survived by six devoted daughters, Carmela Liquori and her husband Dan of Norwalk; Nancy Camarco and her husband Bob: Sandy Ballard and her husband David, all of GA; Angela Letrich and her husband Kalman of AZ; Virginia Tartaglia, Gloria Cocchia and her husband Jeff, all of Norwalk; one brother Stanley Tartaglia and his wife Carol of TX; one sister Carmela Valle and her husband Ferdinando of Italy; sisters & brothers-in-law, Frank Rauccio, Theresa Tartaglia, Elpidio & Maria Rauccio, Maria & Bob Hemingway, Carmela & Achille Battaglia, Andy & Brenda Rauccio, Rosa Rauccio; fifteen grandchildren, Brooke & Bobby Camarco, Shannon, Megan, Michael & Tony Letrich, David Raymond, Jen & Rachel Ballard, Daniel, Kaitlin & Kristine Liquori, Stephanie, Jeffrey & Arthur Cocchia; three great-grandchildren, Logan, Derek & Holly; many nieces and nephews. Predeceased in addition to his parents are his loving step-grandmother, Annunziata Passina; two brothers Nunzio & Gesuele Tartaglia; brother-in-law Generoso Rauccio; sister-in-law Lina Rauccio and his mother and father-in-law Domenic & Alesandra Rauccio. Friends are invited to greet the family on Friday March 7, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday March 8, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. (Procession will leave the funeral home @ 9:30 AM.) Entombment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Norwalk.
