Muriel loved her family above all else. She took great pleasure in cooking and baking for her family. Failing health in recent years limited her activity but she still enjoyed every opportunity to spend time with her family. She greatly enjoyed feeding and watching birds in her yard, crocheting baby blankets for Binky Patrol for distribution to babies in hospitals and homeless shelters, playing games on her iPad, watching the New York Yankees and UConn women’s basketball games on TV, and, most especially, the occasional trip to the casino with her sister and brother-in-law.
