Michael Trehubenko, Jr. age 86, beloved husband to Ninfa Colombano Trehubenko of Norwalk, passed away October 23, 2013 in Norwalk Hospital. Michael was born on March 6, 1927 in Stamford and was a son to the late Michael Trehubenko, Sr. and Reshall Honcharyk. He was a proud veteran of WW II having served in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Trehubenko was a professional baker and owned the Darien Bake Shop and Delite Bakery in Stamford. He was predeceased by his 2 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by his loving wife, Ninfa, two daughters, Jeannie Gelineau and her husband, Raymond, of Indiantown, FL and Barbara Costanzo and her husband, Augustine, of Arlington, TX; grandchildren Janice Kern and her husband, Jerome, of Wilton, CT; Jay Telesco and his wife, Kelly, of Norwalk; Tina Bullock and her husband, Chris, Augustine Costanzo III and his wife, Amanda, Tiffany Costanzo and her husband, Warren and Lori Costanzo of Arlington, TX, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was a talented artist and loved the NY Giants. He had a great sense of humor and cherished his wife and family. His humility, patience, love and kindness will be missed by everyone who knew him. Friends are invited to greet the family on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street, Norwalk.
