Michael Scaglia age 63, beloved husband to Carol Franco Scaglia of Norwalk, died on November 14, 2013 at Yale New Haven Hospital. Mr. Scaglia was born on March 16, 1950 and was a son to the late Michael and Sarah LaPolla Scaglia. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Army. Mike enjoyed riding his Harley and loved his cats; he had been a Maintenance worker for the Italian Club in Stamford for the past 10 years. In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by a sister Phyllis LeBlanc of New Canaan and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Barbara Bundock. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street has been entrusted with arrangements.
