Mei-Mei Fung

Mei-Mei Lum Fung age 77, of Norwalk, passed away on August 29, 2017 at Regional Hospice in Danbury with her family by her side. She was born in Hong Kong on January 29, 1940 and was a daughter to the late Lum Yun Kwong and Chung Mang Wie. She taught school at Pui Ching in Hong Kong before coming to the United States. Mei-Mei was a long time and cherished member of the Fairfield County Chinese Community Church where she played piano during services. She was an avid coupon-clipper who enjoyed finding something she wanted on sale.

She is survived by her loving son Eric Fung of Norwalk; a sister, Meirong Su and brother, Weide Lin, in California, and sister, Meiyun Lin, in China.

Friends are invited to greet the family on Saturday September 2, 2017 from 10 am till Noon and funeral service will be celebrated from noon till 1:00 PM in Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street.
