Mary A. Mills

Mary A. Mills, age 78, of Norwalk and the beloved wife of the late John C. Mills, passed away December 17, 2018 at Norwalk Hospital.  Mary was born in Westport, CT on March 25, 1940 and was a daughter to the late Irving and Dorothea Geddes.  Mary spent her childhood years with her family in Westport, CT.

Mary worked for many years as waitress and then as a doctor’s assistant.  She most enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.  She enjoyed making ceramics, playing bingo and gardening.  She is survived by her three children; Sue Pollack of Derby, CT, Peter S. and his wife Agnieszka Pollack of Oxford, CT, and Dennis W. and his wife Shana Pollack of Lake Mary, FL, her five grandchildren; Anthony, Marissa, Sabrina, Oliver and Parker; and her dear cousins Betty Colbert and Shirley Anderson of Norwalk. She will be missed by her friends, neighbors and her extended family at Broad River Homes.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for a memorial celebration of Mary’s life at Hoyt-Cognetta / Lesko Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street, In Historic Norwalk.  The funeral service and interment will be held privately.  Please visit www.norwalkfh.com to leave an online condolence for the family and for more information.
