Mary Ann Harding

NORWALK, CONN Mary Anne Harding of Norwalk passed away on Monday, November 23, 2009 in the Notre Dame Convalescent Home of Norwalk after being stricken ill. She was 87. Born in Stamford on June 23, 1922, Mary Anne was the daughter of the late Stephen J. and Theresa Harding and attended local schools. She married her beloved husband of nearly twenty-seven years, Austin Harding, who passed away in 1991. Mary Anne worked as a secretary for nearly twenty years at the former Hat Corp. of Norwalk, until its closure. Her husband was her life and provided for him unconditionally. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was a member of St. Philip R.C. Church of Norwalk. Mary Anne is survived by two nieces, Lisa Anne Baran of Norwalk and Diane Bilton of Long Island, NY. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by one brother, Joseph Baran. Honoring Mary Anne's wishes, all funeral services will held privately and at the convenience of the family.
