Mary M. Engelskirger

Mary McKenna Engelskirger, born February 26th, 1943, a resident of Wilton, CT, on and off since 1975, succumbed at Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, CT on July 3rd 2017, from complications from long series of illnesses. She fought these illnesses with the dignity, strength and spirit with which she lived her life.
Mary is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jack, her daughter, Marylynn Iorfino and son-in-law Domenico Iorfino of Fairfield CT, son, Michael Engelskirger and daughter-in-law, Kelly Gent Engelskirger of San Antonio, TX, grandchildren, Caroline Iorfino, and Olin Engelskirger, sisters, Kathleen Pennington and Rose Woodruff of San Antonio, TX and multiple nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews..

Mary was born and raised in the Bronx, (a BIC and proud of it). She attended Saint Helenas, Aquinas High School and Hunter College, worked for Union Carbide in New York, raised 2 children and had a career in Real Estate. Mary retired in 2000 due to illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Wilton, CT on Saturday, July 15th, 2017 at 11:00. Reception to follow at her home at 129 Valeview Road, Wilton, CT.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Marys’ name to Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, CT or the Wilton EMS, Wilton CT.
