Norwalk resident Mary A. Cenatiempo age 75, beloved wife to Stephen Cenatiempo for 55 years, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side. Born in Mazara Del Vallo, Sicily, she was daughter to the late Leonardo & Josephine Piccione Alcamo. Mrs. Cenatiempo was a skilled Cosmetologist / Hair Designer and retired from a sought after salon in StamfordMary had a passion for Fashion and Design and Loved Cooking and spending time with her family. Described by her middle Child Teodoro as "THE BEST OF THE BEST"! Survivors in addition to her loving husband include three sons and their wives; Stephen Cenatiempo, Jr. (Caterina) of Norwalk, Teodoro Cenatiempo (Cynthia Lynn) of Trumbull, and Salvatore Cenatiempo (Jennifer) of Norwalk; two brothers, Frank Alcamo of Fla, and Ignazio Alcamo of NY; a sister Benvenuta Mineo of Long Island; seven grandchildren, Stephen, Brandon, Domenico of Norwalk; Brooklyn, Bailey of Trumbull; Lorenzo, Armani of Danbury several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by a brother Salvatore Alcamo. Friends are invited to greet the family on Sunday August 17, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on August 18, 2014 at 10:30 AM in St. Phillip Church. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Norwalk.
