Mary P. Benincaso, 77, passed away suddenly with her loving family by her side at the Norwalk Hospital, on Friday, July 10, 2015. A lifelong resident of Norwalk, Mary was born on August 26, 1937 to the late Onofrio and Sadie Palumbo. Mary was a graduate of Norwalk High School; she was a former employee of MBI having retired in 2004 after 20+ years of service. Mary is survived by her daughters Vicki Daniele and her husband Larry, Karen Weissert and her husband James, her three cherished grandchildren Nicholas, Kevin, and Allison, all of Norwalk Besides her parents Mary is predeceased by her beloved husband of Nearly 56 years Carmine "Judgie" Benincaso, and a Sister Raffaeline Bernier. Friends are invited to greet the family on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. Matthew's Church, Norwalk, and Interment will follow at St. John's RC Cemetery, Norwalk.
