NORWALK, CONN Martha Cisneros was born May 28, 1958 in Naranjito, Ecuador. Martha passed away at the age of 53 on 09/20/2011 in Stamford, CT. Martha is survived by her husband, daughter, and three sons. Their names are: Simon, Carolina, Patricio, Jonatan, and Glenn Ortiz. During her lifetime, Martha grew up and lived most of her life in Ecuador. Martha moved to the United States on October 2005 where she lived with her family for a period of 6 years. Martha filled the hearts of her loved ones and friends to the fullest with love, appreciation, kindness, and sweetness. Despite of her medical conditions, Martha showed great courage to continue developing a normal style of life. Martha worked a combination of jobs throughout different stages of her life as: an accountant, an independent merchant and an overnight worker. Her main objective was to support with the financial well being of her family. Martha was a generous person and bought clothes and gifts for her loved ones whenever she found a special item that she knew will make a person cheerful. Martha taught her children many good and exemplary qualities that she passed on as a legacy to her forthcoming generation. Martha loved life and showed it by battling against cancer until her last days. Martha is an exceptional and truly an example of persevering and determined fighter. Martha will be missed by her family and friends whom she loves and loved her. Martha is now resting peacefully and joyfully in Heaven where she is walking freely without any disease or pain. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, September 24, 2011 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street from 9:00AM - 10:00AM. Marta's funeral service will follow at 10:00AM in the parlor, A funeral cortege will then proceed to Riverside Cemetery, following the service.
