Marjorie Morin

Marjorie Clara Morin (Gallager), 98, of Westport, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, April 4, 2026. She was a graduate of Staples High School, Class of 1945.

In her earlier years, she was employed at Artex Prints in Norwalk, and later at Trendex and CRC, both in Westport. Later in life, Marge became a home health aide, where she lovingly cared for her clients. Many of whom became lifelong friends.

In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, especially tending to her purple flowers, and decorating her home and yard for every possible holiday. Marge was a lover of anything chocolate, and no meal was ever complete without dessert.

She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Joseph Morin, and her parents, Ruth and Farrington Gallager. She was the loving mother of Judy Williams (Rickie), Sharon Burns (John), and Karen Morin.

The lights of her life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren include Tricia Thompson (Michael), April Vingo, Michael Ward (Laura), William Ward (Jill), and John and Eric Burns. Her great-grandchildren are Emily, Rachel, and Andrea Thompson (Tricia and Michael); Michael and Jack Ward (Michael and Laura); and James, Ryan, and Lila Ward (William and Jill).

She will be remembered for her warm heart, her joyful spirit, and the special way she made every holiday—and every day—feel meaningful. Her love will continue to live on through her family.
