Maria N. Knight

WILTON, CONN Maria N. Knight of Wilton passed away Tuesday, February 09, 2010 at her home, following an illness. She was 81. Her beloved husband Kenneth L. Knight of fifty-nine years, passed away in 2007. Born in New York, Maria was the daughter of the late Genaro and Gloria (Vastola) Rapolla. Maria loved to be around her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all the lives she touched. Maria is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karla and Randolph Ramirez and her three grandchildren Gabriela, Alex and Randolph, all of Wilton. Also surviving is her son, Keith Knight of Oceanside, NY. Preceded in death was a son, Kevin Knight who passed away in 1993. Maria's family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, February 13, 2010 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street, Norwalk from 10:00AM - NOON. Services and interment will be held privately. Memorial Contributions may be sent to charity of one's choice.
