Maria Dirce Fagundes

Maria Dirce Pereira Fagundes passed away on May 28, 2023 in Stamford, CT at the age of 58. Survived by her husband, Antonio Marcos Fagundes; her daughter, Angelina Borges Fagundes; her son, João Borges Fagundes; and her stepson, Andre Fagundes.

Dirce was born on November 28, 1964 in São João da Mata, MG, Brazil, to father José da Costa Pereira and mother Angelina Borges Pereira, who predeceased her. She grew up in a large, loving family with two brothers, Mauro and Rildo, and two sisters, Neiva and Vilma.

Dirce loved the outdoor and waited happily for the blooming season to begin gardening. She cherished her time with her beloved husband and children and remained a very strong and brave woman throughout her battle with cancer.

Friends may greet the family on Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street in Historic Norwalk. A prayer service will held at 8:00 pm.
