Maria Cabral, 84, wife of the late Abilio Cabral of Norwalk, passed away Tuesday May 26, 2015. Maria was born April 26, 1931 in Portugal. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Elisia Rodrigues. She was employed by Hightower Maintenance until retirement. Maria was a kind and loving woman. Family was most important to Maria who was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her loving memory will be cherished by her six children: Albert Cabral (Rose) of Norwalk, CT; Abel Cabral (Diane) of Vero Beach, FL; John Cabral (Barbara) of Titusville, FL; Maria DeSilva of Norwalk, CT; Audrey DaCosta (Joe) of Providence , RI; and Rosemarie Montanez of Titusville, FL. Maria is also survived by 23 Grandchildren and 30 Great Grandchildren. Friends may greet the family on Wednesday June 3, 2015 from 8:00 to 10:00 AM in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM in St. Matthew's Church. Interment will be private.
