Margaret Hegedus

Margaret Hegedus, age 97, formerly of Norwalk, passed away December 29, 2016 at Fair Haven Health Care in Lowell, MA. Mrs. Hegedus was born on September 29, 1919 and was a daughter to the late Peter and Margaret Fedor Virgulak. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ernest and a daughter in law, Linda. Margaret worked for many years in the family business as an accountant and Book keeper.

Survivors include a daughter Judy Jacobsen of Tucson, AZ: two sons, Brian Hegedus, Punta Gorda, FL, Keith & Arleen Hegedus, Pepperell, MA; two grandsons: Justin and Brandon,

Friends may greet the family on Thursday January 5, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in Norwalk’s Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory, 5 East Wall Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Ladislaus Church, South Norwalk. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.
