Marcia L. Mosley Fitzgibbon

Marcia L. Mosley Fitzgibbon, age 65, a resident of Norwalk, Connecticut, departed this life on Friday, October 15, 2021, at Stamford Hospital.

Born in Norwalk, Connecticut on July 24, 1956, she was the daughter of the late John James Mosley and Georgie Bell Lyons. Marcia attended Norwalk Public Schools and attended Norwalk Community College.  She worked at Zotos for 20 years in the Accounts Receivable Department and developed friendships that lasted well beyond her time there.  A devoted family woman, Marcia loved spending time with family, cuddling with her grandson Jordan and being called mom by her favorite girl in the world… Porsha.  When Marcia wasn’t with family, her other hobbies included cooking, baking, listening to her favorite music, finding a good tag sale with friends on the weekends, attending a good concert, watching sports, and relaxing for a good black and white movie.

Those left to cherish her memories:  a daughter Porsha Lee of Norwalk, Connecticut; daughter of the heart Brooke M. Owens of Norwalk, Connecticut; two sisters Barbara Jackson of Rhode Island and Indah Wilson of Hanover, Maryland; a grandson Jordan Sheppard of Norwalk, Connecticut; special friends Cynthia “Dot” Lee, JoAnne Addison, and Huma Mirza; and a host of nieces, nephews, several aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

One brother, John Mosley Jr., and mother of the heart Gertrude “Pinky” Lee, predeceased Marcia.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Historic Norwalk, 5 E Wall Street Norwalk, CT.
