WEST HARTFORD/NORWALK, CONN Lynn Alice Hoppel, resident of West Hartford, Ct., passed away suddenly on Friday, November 12, 2010 in Hartford Hospital of cardiac arrest. Born on March 31, 1961 at Norwalk Hospital, the beloved and only daughter of Alice and Francis Hoppel, Lynn is survived by her daughter Traci Hoppel, brothers Bruce and King Hoppel, their wives Erin Hoppel and Barbara Hansen and numerous nephews and nieces. Lynn attended Wolfpit Elementary, Nathan Hale Junior High School and Norwalk Senior High School. She adored summer vacations on Cape Cod and bravely endured having two older brothers. Lynn came into this world just a pink baby girl sweet and pure as the wind driven snow. She grew up and moved out in the world on her own tho unsure just which way she should go.' She went this way and that, she went uphill and down; to her own baby girl she gave birth. Now she stands with the Lord, holding Mom and Dad's hands with a joy that escaped her on earth. "We love you little sis." The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, November 26, 2010 in Norwalk's Hoyt-Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 East Wall Street from 3:00PM - 5:00PM.
